David W. Reasoner

David is an experienced financial professional with over 30 years in the business.

After receiving his BS degree in Business/Finance from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo he immediately joined a Fortune 500 company and quickly climbed through the ranks and assumed the management at a specific profit center, receiving distinction as the youngest corporate manager in the company’s history, a full fifteen years form the next youngest.

Anxious to use his college education, he matriculated into the world of corporate finance and investment advising, where he remained for twenty years achieving the title of vice president with both Morgan Stanley and UBS Inc.  While a vice president at UBS Inc., he was challenged with two opportunities: accept a promotion and relocate to New Jersey, or accept an offer to run a Silicon Valley startup company acting as Chairman of the Board.  He promptly accepted the chairmanship and proceeded to fully fund the company and bring its market value to a peak of approximately twenty million dollars.  Given his background experience he was offered a position with Citibank.

After helping turnaround a profit center and increasing the asset base by 70% he heeded the call of entrepreneurship and formed The Reasoner Group, an independent investment firm in 2004, culminating into the merger with Sunlight Financial to form Centurion Wealth Advisors.
